I would like to be able to perform a scan or otherwise hit the 'Cart' API to release the cart to further simplify the pick to cart activity.
Currently, users are forgetting to perform this action on mobile device and it results in someone having to navigate to the Cart desktop page and releasing after the fact. This also delays pick work when having to wait for a cart to be cleared.
Great suggestion. I would like to point out that there is a 'Manage Carts' option in the mobile application where the cart can be released and current process documents can be viewed/printed. This willl avoid your team having to navigate back to the desktop. Also, just for your knowledge, carts will automatically release themselves once all orders tied to them are packed/shipped.
